I've been pretty busy with classes and work as of late. The bookstore job is over and things have been a bit easier now, but my only problem is now I've staying up pretty late at night. I need to correct that.
School has been good. I really enjoy my Coms class. The teacher is super cool. My math class is okay. The teacher is cute, but we have a test soon, so I'll be needing to study for it. My english teacher is kicking my butt. She says my work is impressive, but damn is she a tough grader. She hasn't been grading the last couple of reports we have been needing to do, so I'm so nervous what my grades are on them and if I have been doing them correctly. My last class is my art class. We just recently had our first critique. I thought I was going to do bad because everyone's sketchbook had a full on plan on how they were going to make their object. I just kind of dove in and figured out what worked with what. I really should work on creating plans for my projects. I made a bike out of wires. Its about eleven inches long, maybe longer. They really liked how I mad my seat and pedals the most. I'll maybe post pictures of it on a sketch dump for those who are interested.
Speaking of sketch dumps, I might be able to show you guys what has been going on art wise pretty soon. I have a lot of pictures I want to show you guys. But in order to make those sketch dumps, I need to figure out how to connect my scanner to my laptop without a cable, mainly because I don't have the right cable. Yes, after begging my dad to bring the scanner in the house and making a compromise, I now have the scanner back. The scanner is now located in my closet because I'm the only one who uses it. I got a pretty big closet in my room (technically I have the downstairs master bedroom) and my mom just helped me reorganized my closet. I now I have shoe rack! So happy about that!
I have been falling pretty far behind on shows. I need to get caught up on Orange is the New Black, Arrow, the Flash, Game of Thrones, Gravity Falls, and Steven Universe. If you are currently watching those shows, please do not spoil anything for me! Its not nice!
Other than that, life has been pretty good for me. How have you guys been?
If you are curious or want to follow me on tumblr, just ask me and I'll send you the link! I post more sketches there, but it is an art blog only. I update it whenever I get the time to, so that is the only warning I will give (and that there are a lot of drawings of the Scarlet Witch…).

It's too hot where I live...
No seriously, I'd rather deal with being cold than hot. At least I can wear sweaters and drink scolding hot tea to keep me warm. I plan on posting some old/new artwork soon. I've finally started to draw a little more after my long art slump. I'm still kind of dealing with some depression that began to flair up and have recently been diagnosed with anxiety (mostly affects my sleeping habits and at work, with the fear of being fired), but I'm hanging in there. Some more positive news is that I have officially listened to over 50 audiobooks this year. Some of my favorites include Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim (loved it so much, I bought my own copy). Like a Love Story by Abdi Nazemian (this is the one book that almost made me cry at work, which takes a lot). Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett (god, you have no idea how much I love characters who banter at one another. I can listen to character banter and not get bored). The Dread Nation series by Justina Ireland A River of
Hello
Not gonna lie... I like the old DA format. Maybe I'm just an old lady when it comes to it, but the old site was way more user friendly. I understand that they wanted to give DA a face lift but... I like saying what I was listening to and such. And I loved how easy it was to organize your galleries and favorites. I'm not going to give up on DA. I've been here for many years now and I'm still attached to this site more than tumblr and twitter is a mess of its own. Anyway, hope things are going well even this virus has really changed everything in our lives. I'm lucky that I'm considered essential in my department (but unlucky because I have to get up at 4:40 am, when I really want to be lazy and sleep in till 10 am). My mom wasn't so lucky because she was a contract employee. I'm hoping they do bring her back for something when things cool down. Right now in my city, we have a few restaurants won't be opening back up. A Nordstrom will be closing, which I'm more sad about
New Chapter
Well, I got some awesome news.
I got a new job! It will be starting in two weeks. I'll be working for a Healthcare company for the administration department. Lots of Excel and ten key stuff. I'll be getting full benefits and was promised that I will be trained fully for this position. My new boss told me she's hired people who's had less experience in the past than I have and she only hires based off of people who want to learn and succeed. I think I'll always be nervous when it comes to starting a new job, since I feel like I need to brace for a job that is just going to let me go, but I have a lot of faith that this one will work out
It's that time of year...
Where I update you on life.
Honestly, its been pretty boring as of now. Just doing Inktober and going to work. October 28th is the last day at my job since it was only a seasonal job. I already had a lot of my hours cut in half this month since they needed me on certain days. But the good news is while they hope I get permanent full time, I am welcomed back next year if I don't get a new job. I truly will miss that place. After all the crap that happened at the law firm, it was just a wonderful job to gain experience and gain references. The pay was pretty sweet too. But, because I am a paranoid chick, I asked to return to my previou

Hey!
I'd love to see your bike, I'm curious about how you made it. Good luck on your classes and I'm looking forward to your sketch dumps.
